HARRISON, NJ(SMI-GLOBAL-SPORTS-MARCH 23, 2024)-NYRedBulls' top-striker Lewis Morgan scored a Hat-trick as New York overpower Inter-Miami 4-0, during a Saturday's afternoon rainy game at RedBulls Arena in Harrison, NJ.

With the win, NYRedBulls improves to 3-1-1, with 10-points sharing 2nd place with Miami in the Eastern Conference standings while Morgan registered his 5th goal of the 2024 MLS early season, and his 2nd career Hat-trick with the
New York RedBulls in the MLS.



New York opened the score first through forward and top-striker Lewis Morgan who scored his third goal of the season to put the RedBulls in front 1-0, within the first three minute of the first half.

A counter-attack through the right-side field, defender Dylan Nealis passed it to forward Dante Vanzeir who backed-heel it to Morgan  and scored with a rolling hard right-footed to the opposite goal post from the top of the 18-penalty box at 02:52' mark for the 1-0, RedBulls at the half. 

In the second half, New York picked-up where they left-off and Lewis Morgan netted his second goal of the game to extended the lead of 2-0, in favor of the NYRedBulls at 50' mark.
 
With the ball in the left-side field corner, Miami's defender Tomas Aviles in trying to clear the ball from his defensive line was intercepted it by NYRedbulls' midfielder Frankie Amaya to Vanzeir who gave it to Morgan inside the 18' , and scored with a rolling right-shot to the right goal-post to make it 2-0, New York sending the sold-out crowd wild in celebration. 

The RedBulls took control of the game and dominated rest of the second half with Wikelman Carmona and Lewis Morgan scoring two more goals during 4' minute span to sealed the 4-0, win  for New York over Inter-Miami.



In a counter-attack through the left-side field, Lewis Morgan from inside the 18' gave it Vanzeir who passed it to Carmona who scored with a hard left-footed to the far goal post at 65' for 3-0, and Morgan added his Hat-trick 4' minutes later with a rolling left-footed to the opposite goal post at 69' and record his first Hat-trick of the 2024 MLS season.
